In the training session, Mr. Nguyen Thai Duy emphasized: “Youth Union is the backbone of the country”. The youth must always be imbued with revolutionary morality with the mission of practicing humility, simplicity and progressive spirit, fostering one’s determination and building great ambitions; Striving to fight against negative manifestations, social evils and false claims of hostile forces; fighting against the manifestations of individualism, opportunism, pragmatic and selfish lifestyle, the psychological fear of difficulties and hardships. Concentrating on building learning, training, labor and entertainment environments for young people to develop healthily, comprehensively, physically and mentally; having great love and high responsibility for family, homeland and country, etc.
Participating in activities, he aroused the excitement of the youth with practical activities such as practiced singing and group performance of songs about the Union and the youth; organized minigames to stimulate member’s spirit; instructed class cadres, executive committees of branches on how to motivate class members; posed thinking questions with the theme “What does the Union give us?”, etc.
The activities took place with the enthusiastic reception of the branch’s members. The training session held with excitement, simultaneously, giving students more energy in study and work as a Union member, worthy of Uncle Ho’s teaching “The youth will be the owners of the country. Young people must continuously study, make progress, to be truly young people”. Hopefully, the successful organization of the series of activities to celebrate Youth Month and the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union will continue to ignite the passions of the Youth Union members of the College of Science and Technology.
