As an exemplary, dynamic and enthusiastic class president who always takes the lead in all activities and union work, Thanh Hoa is always loved by lecturers and classmates.
Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, a student of Graphic Design 1, term K12, College of Science and Technology, is a typical student who is actively involved in Union and school activities.
Born and raised in Soc Son district, Hanoi, a land rich in revolutionary traditions and also home to numerous elite citizens. The environment, people around and family all play a critical role in nurturing the strong and enthusiastic spirit of Thanh Hoa.
When I met Thanh Hoa in real life, my first impression was that she was a strong, friendly girl with a pleasant face and bright eyes. When it comes to Thanh Hoa’s academic achievements, everyone admires her for being such a good student for many years. In addition, Thanh Hoa also takes on a lot of responsibility when being the class president and a member of the Executive Committee of the College’s Youth Union. She is always willing to help her classmates, encourage them to work together to make progress in their studies and contribute to build solidarity.
Besides her high academic results, Thanh Hoa is an active and compassionate girl who actively participates in social work and voluntary campaigns inside and outside the College, such as giving gifts to the homeless and donating blood, to name but a few.
With the above-mentioned contributions, Thanh Hoa has been awarded the “Active Union Member” Medal, the Certificate of Merit “Student with high academic performance” and the noble title “5-Good Student” by the College.
Talking about some tips for studying and working for the Youth Union, Hoa shared, “When I entered the lecture hall, I always determined that studying would be the first priority. I am always aware that I have to study hard, train myself, strive and rise up to have a better life in the future. Therefore, under all circumstances, studying is always a central task. Never missing school and always focusing on listening to the lectures are the basic principles in learning that helped me achieve good results in the past years. Besides, I am fully aware of the importance of moral training, complying with school rules, and participating in a variety of extra-curricular activities, especially voluntary activities because each activity will bring me new experiences and better understanding of the surrounding life. In fact, I am very interested in the motto “On the path to success there is no footprint of the lazy”.
Along with studying in college, Hoa also actively found herself a job in the related major right from the beginning of 2nd year. She confided, “My starting point was just a trainee position. At that time, I was just a newbie with no experience, so being able to work in a large company was already a great pleasure to me though I had not been assigned with many tasks. However, it is thanks to my enthusiasm, curiosity, and proactiveness in work, I suppose, that I have been arranged by the company to participate in a number of small projects, from which I have the opportunity to accumulate knowledge and later take part in bigger projects. Up to now, I have completely confidently taken on the company’s big design projects.”
Hoa also revealed one more thing that despite not having graduated from college yet, Hoa has been accepted by ECS GLOBAL Development of Business Choices and Support JSC to work as a Design staff. This is what many students secretly wish for when today’s labor market is getting increasingly competitive. Our little girl is admirable, isn’t she?
Hoa’s intention in this academic year is to achieve higher academic results, complete the tasks assigned by the Youth Union, the Student Union and the company, and to become a better version of herself.
