Graduation project defense ceremony is considered an important event to evaluate the students’ competency through the process of researching the project as well as a time for students to shine with the skills and knowledge they have learned and trained during their studies and research.
On August 27th 2022, the College of Science and Technology held a Graduation project defense ceremony for students of term 11th in Graphic Design. At the reporting session, there were always objective and accurate assessment from the Graduation Council comprised of Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Mr. Dinh Van Kien, Mr. Nguyen Van Dat – thesis advisors, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Linh – secretary of the Council.
Diverse project topics
Graduation projects in Graphic Design always have a variety of topics. These topics are chosen by students in accordance with their own interests and strengths, reflecting their unique creativity in shapes and colors layout.
Graduation project requires high quality
According to the regulation, the students presented in front of the Council the basic contents such as reasons for choosing the project topic; design inspiration; the process of implementing the project; components in the design; design style, dominant color, layout, materials; and their subjective assessment of the aesthetic effect and applicability of the design, etc.
After each presentation, the teachers in the Council asked questions, commented, evaluated and graded the projects. The grading process was carried out strictly, in accordance with the set schedule and regulations.
