She shared: “Choosing the Korean Language major because I’m an avid K-pop fan myself, I’m passionate about and always interested in Korean culture and food. Moreover, I also admire the professional working style of Koreans. I have always dreamed of setting foot in this beautiful country.”

When asked about the knowledge and skills that foreign language students need to equip, Dung said that any foreign language requires hard work and practice every day and the skills will be significantly improved. Besides the basic knowledge in textbooks, students should equip themselves with more advanced knowledge from books or on social networking sites. The students need to be equipped with many soft skills such as: teamwork, presentation, communication, memorization, etc. Moreover, when you are still a student, you should actively find some part-time jobs such as assistant lecturers at foreign language centers, staff at restaurants or part-time employees at Korean companies to experience their working environment.

“Studying at the College of Science and Technology has really benefited me a lot, not only academic knowledge but also practical knowledge applied in daily life. Here, I met many teachers who are very enthusiastic and dedicated to students. I met friends from all over the country. I feel really lucky to have met everyone. You all have become a part of a beautiful memory in my student life” she shared.
