On January 11th 2021 afternoon, at the headquarters of the Hanoi Youth Union, the Selection committee for the “Representative faces of the capital’s youth” held a conference to evaluate and select 10 “Representative faces of the capital’s youth” – individuals with the best achievements in many aspects of work and social life in 2020.
The Conference was chaired by Ms. Chu Hong Minh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Youth Union’s Central Committee, Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union, and leaders of departments and agencies who are members of the Committee and leaders of the Hanoi Youth Union’s departments and offices.
Speaking at the Conference, Ms. Chu Hong Minh emphasized that this is the 12th year in a row, the Hanoi Youth Union has organized to honor 10 representative faces of the capital’s youth, who have made positive and outstanding contributions to the city in many aspects of social life. The award is a noble and worthy reward for outstanding individuals, representing the intelligence and aspirations of the capital’s youth.
According to the report, by the end of December 30th 2020, the Hanoi Youth Union has received a total of 39 nominations for “Representative faces of the capital’s youth“, in which the field of study and scientific research has 20 profiles; the field of creative labor and economic development has 4 profiles; the field of National Defense and Security has 2 profiles; the field of Sports, Culture and Arts has 7 profiles and the field of voluntary for community life has 6 profiles.
Also at the Conference, the Selection committee held a meeting, gave opinions on the Regulations, forms of reward and honor the “Representative faces of the capital’s youth” Award in the following years.
