College of Science and Technology recruits students to study in South Korea

The College of Science and Technology announces recruitment on “Study abroad – Work-Study program” as follows:

1. Eligibility:

– High school graduates and students graduated from Intermediate School, College, University

Age: 18 to 26

– Requirement: GPA of all high school years 6.0 or higher, no subject below 5.0

2. Pathway:

There are 04 intakes in March, June, September and December annually. Degree in Korean Language equivalent to university level in Vietnam

2.1. For high school graduates

– Stage 1: Language training in Hanoi for 3 to 6 months

– Stage 2: Study Korean language at college or university in South Korea for 1 to 2 years

– Stage 3: Higher study of college/university/postgraduate major from 2 to 4 years

2.2. For graduates from colleges and universities in Vietnam: 

– College graduates: transfer to College in South Korea for 1 – 1.5 years then  transfer to University for 2 years)

– University graduates: transfer to College in South Korea for 1 year then transfer to University for 2 years then to Postgraduate school for 2 more years)

3. Exit expenses

Estimated exit costs from 180 to 230 million VND, depending on the school and study location in South Korea, the number of months to pay tuition (6 months or 1 year) and the exchange rate Won/VND at the time of exit

The school cooperates with the banking system to support international students to borrow up to 100% of tuition fees

4. Part-time jobs in South Korea

– Upon admission, the school guarantees 100% job placement for international students (within 1 month since admission)

– During the time of study, students are allowed to work at least 4 hours/day, from Monday to Friday at businesses, and receive a minimum salary of 5,000 – 6,000 Won/hour (equivalent 100,000 – 120,000 VND/hour). Income from 800 – 1,200 USD/month (equivalent 17-25 million VND/month)

On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, New Year, summer and winter break, students are allowed to work up to 8 hours with a salary of 200% – 300% of basic salary

5. Employment after graduation:

Be considered for transfer of E7 Visa right after graduation, can work long-term and be settled in South Korea
