1. Training Objectives

1.1. General objectives:

Diploma of Electronic Commerce program aims to train technical human resources working in the field of E-commerce;

Upon completion of the training program, learners will be able to: independently perform business operations on E-commerce, organize group work; apply business and commerce, information technology, legal knowledge to perform work; have creativity and ability to apply technologies to solve complex technical situations in their business operations. Detect and promptly solve security and information security problems in cyberspace;

Fostering learners with ethics, professional conscience, sense of discipline, industrial manner, good health, creating conditions for graduates to have the ability to find/create jobs or continue their study to the higher levels. 

With the Diploma of Electronic Commerce, graduates will be able to work at enterprises of all economic sectors. 

1.2. Specific objectives:

* Professional knowledge and skills to achieve:

Knowledge:

– Present the characteristics, content and implementation process of B2B, B2C, C2C E-commerce transactions; online auction transactions; transaction system via mail, telegram, social networks and other electronic devices;

– Describe relevant laws, decrees, sanctions, legal corridors and international best practices in consulting, negotiating and explaining sales and purchases on the Internet;

– Present the characteristics, contents and processes of public service transactions, E-government transactions; the process of receiving, evaluating, classifying and handling complaints in the public service; describe the activities of processing, streamlining, moving, and monitoring the status of citizens’ documents;

– Identify the objectives and requirements of the E-commerce project; analyze the factors affecting the project; identify strengths and weaknesses in project implementation; analyze the types of risks for the operation of a project;

– Describe the process of receiving feedback and handling customer complaints about products and services; identify effective methods in assessing customer satisfaction index; identify communication channels, social networks sites and information technology applications useful for approaching customers;

– Analyze the principles of installing and configuring application software, website service software; present operating principles;  transactions of supermarkets and virtual stalls on E-commerce websites; analyze a number of key solutions in database security and protection to prevent and response to risks on E-commerce websites;

– Present the procedures for installing and configuring image processing and graphics rendering software; describe the process of designing, processing images, rendering graphics on specialized software;

– Analyze the principles of installing and configuring network devices such as switches, routers, modems, application software, server service software, workstations and terminals; analyze a number of key solutions in database security and protection to prevent and response to system risks; present methods of database maintenance, repair, upgrade and backup;

– Describe E-marketing operations, SEO, SEM techniques, ensure search optimization, optimize marketing for the website; describe the appropriate forms of E-marketing for businesses;

– Present how to operate, declare information… in the customs declaration software ECUS-VNACCS, the provisions of international law for separate sets of documents, procedures, and transportation processes in each different forms of transportation; Describe the set of import and export documents, especially important documents such as: Contract, Invoice, Packing List, C/O, etc.

– Present the electronic payment process in the forms of payment via electronic payment gateway or by Card, E-wallet, SMS, COD, bank transfer;

– Recognize the importance of environmental protection, approaching science and technology in Industry 4.0 to meet work needs;

– Present basic knowledge about politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, physical education as prescribed.

Skills:

– Implement B2B, B2C, C2C transactions, online auction transactions, via mail, telegram, social networks and other electronic devices in accordance with the process

– Apply the content and provisions in the laws, decrees, sanctions, legal corridors and international best practices related to sales and purchase transactions.

– Negotiate and draft sale contracts and implement related procedures

– Provide goods warranty service according to the steps in the process

– Proficient in the use of computers and the Internet for professional activities

– Apply a number of practice methods and gain basic skills in a number of physical and sports subjects such as gymnastics, athletics, volleyball, etc.

– Able to use basic foreign languages, reaching level 2/6 in the Foreign Language Competency Framework of Vietnam; Apply foreign languages ​​to professional work in industries. 

* Political, ethics, physical and national defense education

Politics and ethics education:

– Develop an fundamental understanding of Marxism – Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Ideology; Constitution and Laws of the State;

– Develop an understanding economic development orientation of the Party as well as the achievement and development in industrialization and modernization career of the country;

Foster patriotism, loyalty to Socialism and the revolutionary cause of the Party and the interests of the country;

– Be ethical, passionate to the job and have a professional conscience;

– Comply with the provisions of the law, have a sense of discipline and industrial style, be serious, honest, careful, meticulous and precise;

– Comply with the provisions of accounting and finance laws, take responsibility for assigned tasks;

– Comply with the learning regulations, have the spirit of self-study, self-improve professional qualifications to meet the needs of the job.

Physical and National defense education:

– Train to be healthy for long-term study/work, always ready to serve the cause of national construction and defense;

– Apply a number of practice methods and gain basic skills in some physical exercises and sports such as gymnastics, athletics, volleyball, etc.

– Present the basic knowledge about all-people national defense, militia and self-defense;

– Apply basic military knowledge and necessary skills for soldiers in the work of protecting order and safety;

– Obey the discipline and spirit of revolutionary vigilance, ready to perform military service to protect the Fatherland.
