On the morning of 10th March 2023, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the College of Science and Technology successfully organized a training session for organizing the branch congress for the term 2023-2024. This was an annual event organized by the Youth Union to ensure the quality of the congress’s content and improve the professional skills of the members of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union chapters.
The session was attended by delegates inside and outside the College such as MSc. Nguyen Thai Duy – Head of Youth Work Skills Department and Secretary of the Vietnam Youth Academy’s Union, along with representatives of the College and all members of the College of Science and Technology’s Youth Union.
During the session, the delegates summarized the implementation of the Decisions of the last term’s Congress and determined the direction, goals, tasks and solutions for the union’s work and youth movement in the new term.
Also within the framework of the session, the union officials listened to the rapporteur MSc. Nguyen Thai Duy – Lecturer of the Vietnam Youth Academy sharing required skills for union officials. The sharing covered some interesting and useful topics such Necessary attributes for a union official and The requirements and conditions for success in life. The union officials and union members attending the session also received small gifts from the mini-game.
Through the training sessions, not only did we realize the importance of each Youth Union cadre in instructing students to work, study and do public activities together with the community, but we also created a strong bond between the union members. This could be considered a great experience and a solid basis for the union officials to optimize their leadership talent and play their role in the union work, especially in the context of international integration today.
