On August 20th 2020, the College of Science and Technology organized the admission for new students of term 12th. This first admission period lasts from August 20th to September 5th 2020.
In order to facilitate the admission and ensure safety, the College has mobilized more than 50 staff and volunteer students to guide and answer questions for candidates about admission procedure. The College has also assigned a unit to support new students needing accommodation.
New student’s sharing when receiving the question “What was your first impression of your admission day?”
Hoang Dinh Tuan, a new student majoring in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering, shared: “I was very impressed when I entered the College, the teachers were really enthusiastic. Because I didn’t want to miss the first day of school, I took a bus from Nam Dinh to Hanoi with my family at 5 am. About 6 o’clock, I called to ask for directions, but the teacher still enthusiastically guided me regardless of the time. I want to express how thankful I am!”
Tam, a freshman in Information Technology from Bac Giang, shared: “I found the College is cleaner and more spacious than I thought. The facilities are complete, the teachers are caring, and the volunteer students are very cute and enthusiastic.”
Besides supporting new students to complete admission procedures, the work of ensuring safety during the Covid-19 epidemic is the top priority of the College’s Board of Administrators. Therefore, before entering the admission office, the College has arranged an area for hand sanitizing, disinfecting and measuring students and their companion’s body temperature.
