Perhaps the College of Science and Technology’s students of term 11th are no stranger to the name Ngo Thai Son, an energetic, vivacious and extremely sociable class president. Thai Son is currently the class president of class BK03, majoring in Automotive Technology.
Let’s meet and listen to the sharing from this guy to understand more about the school as well as Son’s experiences.
Reporter- Hi Son, can you share why you choose to enroll in the College of Science and Technology and your current major?
Ngo Thai Son: “When I was getting to know about the school, I found information about the training program that is practice-integrated with 70% practice and 30% theory to help improve my skills and confidence in my skills after graduation. The head office is located in Hanoi, where more than 1000 businesses in Automobile, IT, Tourism, Commerce and Service, etc.
This is where I have the opportunity to study, practice and work during my study here. After graduation, students can apply for internships and jobs in Japan, Korea, Singapore, Germany and Taiwan. For me, the College of Science and Technology is a school that meets the needs of students and the human resource demand of businesses. “
Reporter – What lessons did College of Science and Technology give you?
Ngo Thai Son: “The school gives me a lot of lessons and a breakthrough for myself. The biggest lesson for me so far is “DARE”. It means believing in yourself, taking risks to become the best version of yourself. One of the first things I did was run for class president.
The first time doing it was really awkward and there were many shortcomings. But I believe I can do it and now I’m starting to be bolder in the tasks of finding a leader and helping myself to have a financial source. Moreover, thanks to the orientation of the teacher, I have developed a better understanding of myself, dare to give up bad habits, dare to face fear and dare to move forward with what I dream. “
Reporter – As a class president in such a large class, do you have any difficulties to share, Son?
Ngo Thai Son: “There are many things worth mentioning here, also quite a few memories for me. When I first became the class president, my class was quite crowded, then the class was split in half, divided into 2 classes. I became the class president of BK 03. Since then, the two classes have gradually become separate, not communicating anymore. Noticing the separation of both classes like that, I was quite sad so I decided to connect the 2 classes together with events with my enthusiasm.
Fortunately, both classes were closer together in Activities as well as study movement. What makes me happy is that the 2 classes have participated in collective activities, together building a strong and united Automotive Technology major. “
Reporter – Can you share your plans for the future?
Ngo Thai Son: “ Definitely in the near future I will focus on studying and maintaining balance between work and study. In the distant future, together with the 2 classes, we will do our best to pass the subjects and conquer the best achievement at school. After that, I will continue to study abroad to expand my knowledge, study international high-techs and how to operate a giant apparatus. “
